I offer consultancy on personal tutoring practice, leadership, implementation and whole institution approaches. This is evidence-informed and draws on my own research in this area which is crucial for student retention and success.

  • identify what professional development, support and systems are needed to provide an effective service

I have a record of sustained impactful leadership of HE Teacher Education programmes. This includes being the programme lead for Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and Academic Professional Appreiocticeship schemes within different FE and HE institutions.

Advance HE Fellowship schemes

Do you want to enhance your Advance HE Fellowship scheme?

I have experience in comprehensive review of schemes and subsequent implementation. These have resulted in improving the number, profile and esteem of Fellowships across institutions. I have overseen successful reaccreditation which has been commended by Advance HE as an exemplar of inclusive design. This is informed by my knowledge of academic standards gained through my external examiner role completion of Advance HE’s External Examiner course and regular participation in Advance HE’s Accredited Programme Leaders Network.
